About Us - Behaviour and Family Support Using NVR

I bring over 30 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and families (0–19), with a strong focus on children’s behaviour, emotional regulation, and family relationships.

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Education and a Degree in Early Years, alongside specialist training in family support and behaviour.

I’m trained in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) (Levels 1–4) and I’m a Complex Behaviour Specialist, including experience supporting families impacted by child-to-parent aggression. I work in a neurodiversity-informed way, supporting families where there may be autism, ADHD, demand avoidance (PDA), anxiety, and other emotional regulation needs. Alongside my NVR training, I am safeguarding trained, with a strong focus on safety, connection, and long-term repair.

My work is always shaped around your family, your values, and what feels realistic in day-to-day life.
At NVR Restoring Balance, we take small steps at a pace that feels manageable — helping reduce escalation, rebuild trust, and restore calmer patterns over time.
